Brookgreen Gardens
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places and designated a National Historic Landmark, the Brookgreen Gardens is considered the finest outdoor presentation of American figurative sculpture in the world. Brookgreen Gardens is home to more than 900 works by 300 of the greatest names in American sculpture. In addition to the Archer and Anna Hyatt Huntington Sculpture Garden, visitors can explore the Lowcountry History and Wildlife Preserve, which contains acre upon acre of native plants and animals, as well as the E. Craig Wall Jr. Lowcountry Center, which features exhibits and educational programs that focus on the area's rich history.
