The Carolina Opry

Back in 1986, entrepreneur Calvin Gilmore opened the 2,200-seat Carolina Opry, which started Myrtle Beach's live entertainment craze. The Carolina Opry's energetic show features a talented cast of musicians performing a variety of musical styles, from country, jazz and bluegrass to Broadway, gospel and pop.
