Atlantic Beach, South Carolina

Nicknamed "The Black Pearl," Atlantic Beach lies just South of North Myrtle Beach. Atlantic Beach, which was originally formed by Gullah/Geechee people, descendents of slaves who lived on the Sea Islands. Atlantic Beach hosts the Gullah Geechee Festival each August.
