Murrells Inlet, South Carolina

Known as the "Seafood Capital of South Carolina," Murrells Inlet is located six miles South of Myrtle Beach on U.S. 17. This old fishing village is home to more than two dozen seafood restaurants that serve delicious Lowcountry cuisine, as well as deep-sea fishing charters, boat tours, kayaking, scuba diving, parasailing and boat rentals. Notable Murrells Inlet restaurants include Drunken Jack's, Wahoo's, Bovine's, Spuds Waterfront Dining, Divine Fish House, Creek Ratz, Nance's Creekfront Restaurant and Captain Dave's Dockside.

Popular attractions in Murrells Inlet include Brookgreen Gardens and Huntington Beach State Park. Murrells Inlet's annual Blessing of the Inlet festival in early May features live entertainment, seafood, arts and crafts, and children's activities. Other popular annual events in Murrells Inlet include the July 4th Boat Parade and Halloween Parade.
